LAS07 plates and sheets are low-alloy, high-strength steel with good weldability and toughness. They contain manganese, silicon, carbon, and small amounts of alloying elements such as chromium, molybdenum, and nickel, which add strength and resistance to corrosion. LAS07 has the mechanical properties of a high tensile strength of about 450-650 MPa and yield strength of about 300-450 MPa, good elongation and impact resistance. These characteristics make LAS07 particularly suited for structural, construction, and heavy engineering use, with reliability under extreme conditions coupled with ease of manufacture and long-term stability.
