200BHN plates and sheets are produced using a well-proportioned mix of carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur, along with trace elements for added strength and durability. They possess a Brinell Hardness Number (BHN) of 200, which makes them highly resistant to wear. Their mechanical properties include tensile strength of 550-600 MPa, yield strength around 300 MPa, and elongation of 20%. Highly prized due to their great toughness, weldability, and machinability, 200BHN sheets and plates find best applications as structural, industrial, and heavy-duty with requirement for outstanding performance and longevity.
