Alloy Steel 4140 Foil is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel that contains about 0.38–0.43% carbon, 0.75–1.00% manganese, 0.80–1.10% chromium, and 0.15–0.25% molybdenum. This unique blend gives it impressive tensile strength, excellent fatigue resistance, and solid impact toughness. With a tensile strength that ranges from 655–1080 MPa and a hardness of up to 28–32 HRC (when quenched and tempered), it boasts exceptional durability.
