EN 24 Sheets and Plates are made up of about 0.36–0.44% carbon, 0.45–0.70% manganese, a maximum of 0.35% silicon, 0.90–1.40% nickel, 0.45–0.70% chromium, and 0.20–0.35% molybdenum. This alloy is known for its outstanding strength, wear resistance, and impressive fatigue resistance, even under significant stress. Typically supplied in a hardened and tempered state, EN 24 can achieve tensile strength levels between 850–1000 MPa while still maintaining good ductility and shock resistance. With its high hardenability and excellent toughness, EN 24 steel plates are ideal for applications that demand high tensile strength and impact resistance in challenging working conditions.
