EN 8 Sheets and Plates are medium carbon steel products that contain around 0.36–0.44% carbon, 0.60–1.00% manganese, along with trace elements of silicon, sulfur, and phosphorus. These plates are easy to machine in their untreated state and can be heat-treated to enhance their mechanical properties.
