C55 High Carbon Steel Sheets and Plates are made up of about 0.50–0.60% carbon and 0.60–0.90% manganese, with only trace amounts of silicon, sulfur, and phosphorus. When hardened, C55 boasts excellent tensile strength and wear resistance, with Brinell Hardness values ranging from 160 to 280, depending on the treatment process.
