S355JR is a non-alloy structural steel grade that meets EN 10025-2 standards. It includes carbon (≤0.24%), manganese (≤1.60%), silicon (≤0.55%), along with small amounts of phosphorus and sulfur. The “JR” label signifies that the material successfully passes Charpy V-notch impact testing at 27J at room temperature (20°C). It boasts a minimum yield strength of 355 MPa and a tensile strength ranging from 470 to 630 MPa.
